Spa Etiquette and FAQ

Spa Etiquette

To ensure you fully enjoy every moment of your treatment, we kindly request that you arrive 5-10 minutes before your scheduled appointment. This allows our practitioners to start your service on time. If you happen to arrive late, we will still be happy to provide your treatment; however, your session may be adjusted to accommodate the next scheduled client.

We love to connect with our clients, and due to the nature of our historic building, complete silence in the spa is not always possible. You may hear the gentle hum of laughter and quiet conversations. Nonetheless, we respect quiet zones, such as the hallway and sauna area, where we aim to create a serene and relaxing atmosphere for everyone. We kindly ask that you use your "spa voice" when in these designated areas.

Your best day at the spa is our best day at the spa! Our team loves showing up for you deliver the exceptional treatments you absolutely deserve. As a small business, the income from scheduled appointments is vital to our team's well-being.

We recognize that circumstances may require you to modify your plans. Your reserved appointment time is exclusive to you and can be challenging to fill on short notice. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment will incur a 50% charge of the appointment price. No-show appointments will be charged the full appointment fee. Payment for late cancellations and no-shows is required before scheduling another appointment.

We offer all of our guests that are using the saunas a robe, towel and sandals. While we provide lockers and keys for your belongings, please be aware that Pure Spa cannot be held responsible for any lost or damaged items. It's advisable to leave valuables at home.

As a coed spa, maintaining the comfort of our guests and the hygiene of our amenities is important. Therefore, we request that guests wear swim suits or utilize our Turkish towels as wraps while in the saunas.

During hydrotherapy treatments, our skilled practitioners prioritize your comfort by employing draping. If you prefer to wear swim suit bottoms, feel free to do so, although it is not mandatory.

The option to enjoy our saunas is available as an add-on ($32) when booking any of our massage & pedicure services.Additionally, complimentary sauna use is included when you book our Hungarian facial, Sugar scrub and massage package  and our Hungarian facial /massage package.

Due to the intense heat in these sauna rooms, feel free to take breaks as needed. We provide ice-cold water and strongly recommend that all sauna guests stay hydrated during their session.

For the eucalyptus steam room, it's best to keep the door closed at all times to maintain the quality of the experience. If you need to cool off, take a break, step out of the sauna, and refresh in the shower.

Our cedar sauna is dry and doesn't require water to be poured on it. Please note that saunas and showers are closed 30 minutes before our closing time to allow our staff to clean and prepare the saunas for the next day.
